Mumbai Monsoons

Mumbai takes a completely new look during the rains. The rain makes the trees look greener and brighter, enhancing the beauty of the city. It washes off the dirt, dust making the city looking cleaner and greener.. Ever visited Juhu beach or the Marine drive during the showers? oh its a sight so breath-taking, no wonder its flooded with couples during the rains. Its the favorite season of the people in Mumbai.

 My memories of monsoons are very happy. It marked the beginning of the schools in Mumbai, which meant new fresh smelling books, uniform and rain wear. And schools meant meeting old friends again, with loads of new things to talk about!

When it rains, i feel so one with it. Its as if the rain really does understand my pain, and it cries with me, for me. The rain takes away all my sorrow cleansing my body, my soul and my heart. Each drop of rain feels so pure and so cold, it gives me a different feeling altogether. I must have spent countless evenings sitting on the Juhu beach in the rain, soaking and absorbing the beauty around.

This weather in itself is so intrinsically romantic. Nothing beats the joy of being with your loved one amidst nature drenching in the rain. Its just so perfect......so so perfect.
