Soon after, the engagement date and the wedding date got fixed. Both the mothers made appointments with their trusted astrologers and matched the kundalis, luckily the match was good and both Vanessa and Vivan scored  23 and a half, which is considered to be good, on a scale of 36 where the minimum score must be 18. July 1, 2012 marked the beginning of a new chapter in Vanessa's and Vivan's life. They both liked each other and had gathered their families to make the announcement of their marriage. Vanessa was pretty excited as a girl whose marriage got fixed would be. She wore a green chiffon saree, and co incidentally even Vivan turned up in a green kurta. Her mom was very enthusiastic about the whole affair since this was the first and the last marriage that would take place in their family.
